NAVTA Announces 2026 Board of Directors Election Results

The National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 election for the 2026 Board of Directors. Mandy Zachgo, LVT, FVTE, has been elected to serve as Director, and Ryan Frazier, LVT, MBA, has been elected as Treasurer. Both will begin their two-year terms on the NAVTA Board in January 2026.

Mandy brings over 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine, including roles in clinical practice, academia, and hospital leadership. She is passionate about advancing the veterinary technician profession through mentorship, leadership, and advocacy.

Ryan has been a member of the Board since 2021, having been elected to two terms as Director and appointed to one term as Treasurer. He serves as the Administrative Director for the Minnesota Association of Veterinary Technician, in addition to being Program Director and Past President of the Washington State Association of Veterinary Technician.

NAVTA extends its appreciation to all nominees for their dedication to the profession and thanks the Nominating Committee, chaired by Jamie Rauscher, LVT, for overseeing the election process in accordance with NAVTA’s bylaws and policies.

The association also thanks all members who participated by casting their votes. Member engagement ensures that NAVTA continues to represent and advance the veterinary technician profession across the country.
