The Michigan Association of Veterinary Technicians recently hosted its 2026 VTNE Mock Exam at Michigan State University, providing aspiring veterinary technicians with the opportunity to gain valuable test-taking experience ahead of the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).
Held on Friday, May 15, the event welcomed 26 students to Michigan State University’s campus in East Lansing for a full day focused on exam preparation, professional growth, and networking with peers. Participants completed a practice VTNE exam designed to help them better understand the structure, pacing, and expectations of the national credentialing exam.
The mock exam, organized by MAVT, is part of the association’s ongoing commitment to supporting veterinary technician students as they transition into the profession. In addition to the practice testing experience, attendees also had the opportunity to connect with fellow future credentialed technicians and participate in a prize giveaway.
NAVTA supported the event through its District Representative Committee, which helps strengthen engagement with state and regional veterinary technician organizations.
