The National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) is pleased to welcome Harold Davis, Jr., RVT, VTS (ECC), VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia), back to the Board of Directors.
The Board approved Harold’s appointment, effective immediately, to fill the remainder of a Director term through the 2027 Annual Meeting. He succeeds Dru Mellon, who recently resigned due to ongoing family and health-related commitments.
A longtime advocate for credentialed veterinary technicians and former NAVTA Treasurer, Harold brings extensive leadership experience and a deep understanding of the association’s mission, governance, and strategic priorities. His previous service makes him a natural choice to help ensure a seamless transition and maintain continuity in NAVTA’s leadership on behalf of members and the profession.
During his tenure as Treasurer, Harold played a key role in strengthening NAVTA’s financial foundation and supporting initiatives that advanced the veterinary technician profession. His dedication to leadership, professional development, and organizational excellence has left a lasting impact on both NAVTA and the broader veterinary community.
NAVTA extends its sincere appreciation to Dru Mellon for his service and contributions to the organization.
