An individual who is certified, licensed, or registered as a veterinary technician or veterinary nurse, and who resides in the United States of America. Credentialed members are entitled to vote and hold an elected office. Credentialed members must live in the United States.
An individual enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or veterinary nursing education program (that does not have a Student Chapter of NAVTA) and is entitled to all benefits of an Associate Member.
Any individual not meeting the requirements of a Credentialed Member or Student member, but is interested in the Association’s goals. Associate members can serve on NAVTA committees but may not vote or hold an elected office within NAVTA, and are only eligible to vote in FelineVMA elections. Associate membership is open to veterinarians, veterinary technicians/nurses who reside in the USA, and veterinary assistants.
