If you are a Credentialed Veterinary Technician member of NAVTA and would like to help shape the future of the association’s leadership team, please submit your name for consideration to serve on NAVTA’s 2024 Nominating Committee.
The 2024 Nominating Committee will be charged with finding eligible candidates to fill the three seats on the Board of Directors that will become vacant in January 2025.
The Nominating Committee’s work will begin in August and end by mid-October. It is expected that committee members will be available for one-hour weekly Zoom calls during that time. It is expected that the heaviest workload for the committee will happen from mid-September to early-October, during which time frequent Zoom calls may be necessary.
The Nominating Committee will be chaired by Ashli Selke, NAVTA’s Past President. In addition to the Chair, there will be one (1) current Member of the Board of Directors whose term is not expiring; one (1) current NAVTA Committee Chair; one (1) member or the Chair of NAVTA’s DEIB Committee; and three at-large Credentialed Members of NAVTA chosen and appointed by the NAVTA President.

Please note: if you have any intention of nominating yourself or being nominated for the open seats, please do not volunteer to serve on the Nominating Committee, as that will constitute a conflict of interest and you would be disqualified from serving on the Nominating Committee.
