The MentorVet Tech Program

MentorVet creates evidenced-based programming to support the mental health and wellbeing of the profession and is excited to announce the launch of a new mentorship program specifically designed to support credentialed veterinary technicians, the MentorVet Tech Program.

The MentorVet Tech Program is designed and implemented in collaboration with veterinary technicians including Alyssa Mages, Mariel Hendricks, Rebecca Newman, and many others!

While the program will be launching in the Fall of 2023, as a NAVTA member, you have the opportunity to be one of the first individuals to participate in this program that is being piloted this spring!

MentorVet is sponsoring 20 full scholarships to credentialed technicians who have graduated in the past 7 years to participate in the Spring 2023 MentorVet Tech Pilot Program.

Program Highlights:
*Complete five online self-paced learning modules focused on professional life skills including conflict management, moral stress, advocacy, and stress management
*Once a month, upon completion of each module, you’ll meet virtually with your program peers to discuss module content, compare in-practice experiences, and deepen your understanding of how to apply lessons learned.
*If desired, get access to paired mentorship and financial and mental health coaching
*The MentorVet Tech Program will extend from March 12, 2023 – August 15, 2023.

Scholarship Qualifications:
*You must be a credentialed veterinary technician
*You must be a NAVTA member
*Preference is given to veterinary technicians who have graduated between 2015 and 2023
